There are so many native flowering plants which I find fascinating. The purple ironweed can be a difficult plant to control in heavily grazed areas but it behaves quite nicely when it's native neighbors are keeping it company. Botanists and naturalist are finding that cooperation is a more accurate description of native plant relationships than earlier concepts addressing competition.
I think there are lots of things we humans can learn by studing plants.
